The A374 Liskeard to Torpoint road has now reopened in both directions following a two-vehicle collision that occurred earlier this morning.
The Devon and Cornwall Police Inrix website reports that the road reopened at 10'15am, though traffic is still said to be moving slowly past the accident scene.Earlier the following information regarding the accident was provided by the police: “A374 both ways closed, slow traffic due to accident, a car and a van involved between Millbrook Turnoff and Horsepool Road.”
The incident was reported to police at 7.10am and the location was said to be at Sheviock between the B3247 turnoff to Millbrook and Horsepool Road and there are also reports that the two drivers will be taken to hospital as a precaution but it is thought there are no serious or life-threatening injuries resulting from the collision.
