CAMBORNE head into tomorrow’s home date with Sale FC (2.30pm) aiming to extend their four-match winning run in National League One.

The Cherry and Whites have bounced back from their defeat by Plymouth Albion by seeing off Rosslyn Park, Sheffield, London Scottish and Cambridge and have won all four outings outside of Cornwall to sit third in the table with five wins and a defeat from their six starts.

Sale travel down from Lancashire in fine fettle themselves despite a 31-22 reversal to Plymouth last weekend, and will provide a huge test at the Recreation Ground.

Camborne’s coaching staff have had their biggest selection headache yet for the clash, as shown by Declan Prowse, Ben Priddey and CJ Boyce all being left out of the 20-man squad.

Up front, Prowse’s place goes to Tommy-Lee Southworth, and with former Cornish Pirates prop Jack Andrew available again after a six-game ban, he gets a spot on the bench.

Skipper Sam Matavesi continues in his favoured position at hooker following his hat-trick at Cambridge last Saturday, while the locks are also the same as George Smith and Barnaby Waddell provide the engine room.

There is one alteration to the back-row as St Just’s Jordan Nicholls makes his 200th appearance for the club at openside as he comes in for Adam Hughes who drops to the bench.

Dan Roderick and Fraser Honey continue at scrum-half and fly-half respectively, as do Frankie Nowell and Matt Shepherd on the wings.

Despite a hugely-impressive start to his career at Camborne, Irish centre Ben Power makes way for the fit-again Joel Matavesi who returned to action last weekend off the bench, as he joins brother Josh in the midfield.

Oli Roberts continues at full-back following a man-of-the-match performance last Saturday.

Not that scoring points has been a problem so far, however if Camborne are chasing the game in the second half, they have the luxury of bringing on winger Alex Ducker who has missed the last two games after suffering a head knock at Sheffield.

CAMBORNE v Sale FC: Oli Roberts; Matt Shepherd, Joel Matavesi, Josh Matavesi, Frankie Nowell; Fraser Honey, Dan Roderick; Tommy-Lee Southworth, Sam Matavesi (capt), Jon Drew; George Smith, Barnaby Waddell; Jago Sheppard, Jordan Nicholls, Herbie Stupple. Replacements: Jack Andrew, Ben Woodmansey, Adam Hughes, Ben Power, Alex Ducker.
