China Fleet Country Club is hosting a golf day next month as part of 25 events taking place this year to celebrate their 25th anniversary.

In aid of the Royal Marines Charity and the Not Forgotten Association, the golf day will take place on Friday, June 10, with tee times from 12.30pm.

Dean Bennett, general manager of China Fleet Country Club, said: ‘We are looking for teams of four to take part. Golfing enthusiasts and corporate teams can register; it is a fun way to help celebrate our 25th anniversary and raise money for two deserving causes.’

China Fleet Club’s doors were opened in June 1991 by Prince Charles and the club has recently welcomed a visit from The Princess Royal as part of a rededication ceremony.

The golf day will see teams of four battle it out to win prizes, including those who hit a hole in one winning a golfing holiday for four.
