FORMER Plymouth Argyle ladies' team manager Rhys Sullivan has been appointed head coach of the New Jersey Blaze.
The Blaze are a top amateur club operating in New Jersey, featuring international players such as Shirville Jarvis, who represents Antigua and plays alongside Nottingham Forest player Dexter Blackstock.
They also have stand-out players from surrounding colleges such as Rutgers and NYU.
Said Sullivan, who hails from Liskeard: 'The job gives me a fantastic opportunity not only to work with top-quality players but also to travel across the USA, with away games being all over the East Coast, including Philadelphia, Boston and Washington.'
