SOUTHERN League Division One South side Falmouth Town will host two-league lower Wadebridge Town in the last 16 of the Ward Williams Cornwall Senior Cup next month.

The Ambers, who are enjoying a superb campaign at Step Four and sit seventh following Tuesday night’s 2-1 success over Tiverton Town, will take on Paul Rowe’s Bridgers on their own patch at Bickland Park.

All eight ties will be played on either Tuesday, November 3 or Wednesday, November 4 with 7.30pm kick-offs.

Falmouth are the only Step Four side in the competition, but there are four Western League Premier Division sides remaining.

Newquay, who knocked out last year’s winners Penzance in round one, welcome South West Peninsula League Premier West strugglers Dobwalls, while Torpoint Athletic host managerless Launceston from the division below.

Western League Premier Division high-flyers St Blazey, already enjoying a fine run in this year’s FA Vase, make the trip to a Hayle side who have enjoyed a solid beginning to life in Premier West. Elsewhere, Step Five play-off hopefuls Liskeard Athletic host Sticker who have been the surprise package so far in Premier West.

Two of the Premier West title hopefuls meet at Poltair Park as AFC St Austell host Callington Town, while other all Step Six encounters see Bude Town make the marathon journey down to Mousehole and last year’s finalists Camelford visit promoted St Mawgan who, like Hayle, are proving they more than belong at their new level.
