TRURO-born winger Freddie Issaka has joined Enterprise National League outfit Gateshead on loan from Plymouth Argyle.
The 20-year-old has penned an initial deal until January, having made just one senior appearance for the Greens this season.
Issaka made his debut for the North East club in their 4-0 loss at Forest Green Rovers on Saturday.
Issaka, who had spells last season with Bristol Rovers and Truro City, follows Caleb Roberts and Tegan Finn in heading out on loan, with the pair having joined Torquay United.
“It is pleasing Freddie will join Caleb and Tegan in heading on loan to get precious minutes,” said Argyle Director of Football Derek Adams. “Gateshead are an established team at National League level, and it will be great for Freddie to go there and thrive.”
