Weigh out 12g of agar powder
Place powder into a 1.5L or 2L saucepan
Add 1L of cold water and stir
Heat mixture with a lid on, keep stirring as it heats, and bring to the boil
Simmer for 1-2 mins and watch it as it boils - stir again - the mixture should go clear but won’t be completely colourless
Take the pan off the heat but leave the lid on
Cool for several hours with the lid on
Make balls of jelly by scooping with an ice-cream scoop and place in a bucket
