Are you a young Cornish agriculturalist or horticulturalist wishing to travel?
The Ken Thomas Charitable Trust, The Huers, awards bursaries to young Cornish agriculturalists, aged from around 20 to 30, who might not have the means or the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and experience to travel.
The bursaries normally assist with travel costs and other expenses directly relating to a study project linked to either agricultural or horticulture. Over the years beneficiaries have travelled to New Zealand, Australis, the USA, India, Japan, Hungary, Zambia, Brazil and areas closer to home. Some have done veterinary work experience whilst others have attended an international conference.
