Pensilva Pigeons - Racing from Yeovil

Pensilva PFC raced from Yeovil this weekend, with the 15 members' 95 birds released in a no-wind situation at 08:30. Conditions were a lot cooler than the previous week, raising hopes of a better race.

The birds made steady work of the journey, with G and P Skews of Pensilva taking first place with a time of 2:10:01 and a velocity of 1133.154. D W Renfree of Quethiock took second place with a flying time of 2:11:00 and a velocity of 1121.092. Third place was taken by P Martin and Son of Callington with a flying time of 2:07:35 to give a velocity of 1107.811.

D W Renfree won first 5p and 10p pools, while P Martin took second.
