THE legendary Zombie Crawl will be bringing its annual frightful fun and monstrous mayhem to Newquay once again to celebrate Hallowe’en.
Hundreds of ghouls, ghosts and monsters will be taking part in the parade from Oakleigh Terrace to the Sainsbury’s car park on Saturday, October 24 at 3pm.

The streets will come alive with local schoolchildren, dance, community and acting groups, voluntary organisations as well as street performers.
The spooky Newquay celebrations will begin with a programme of free Halloween workshops and activities taking place at locations across the town between 11am and 2pm.
Families can get creative and prepare themselves for the Zombie Crawl with a whole host of spooky activities, including face painting, wound-making workshops, pumpkin carving, Halloween banner making, spooky storytelling while Titan the Robot will be staging a special performance at the Killacourt at 2pm.
The UK’s biggest zombie crawl is part of a full week of free family Halloween entertainment being staged in Newquay running from Saturday, October 24 to Saturday, October 31.
A brand-new interactive online Spooky Newquay map will help families find their way around the town, discover activities and see what's happening at different locations.
Printed maps will also be available around Newquay, helping visitors navigate the route and find participating businesses, events and spooky activities.
Families will be able to pick up a special Spooky Newquay Passport, designed to encourage them to explore different parts of Newquay and discover participating businesses.
Businesses taking part will have their own spooky stamp. Once the passport is filled it can be handed in during half-term week for the chance to win various spooky prizes.
Newquay BID will be supporting local businesses, attractions, hospitality venues and community organisations as the whole town gets into the Halloween spirit.
Businesses are being encouraged to join the scarefest by decorating their windows, dressing their premises and teams, running Halloween-themed offers, hosting family activities, putting on Halloween events, becoming a spooky Newquay passport location and creating their own spooky experiences.
The new Spooky Newquay website, launching ahead of the event, will bring everything together in one place.
Families will be able to find the Zombie Crawl information, workshops, business offers, events, activities, the interactive map, passport locations and all the other spooky happenings taking place around Newquay.
Newquay BID is staging the frightfest with the help of Newquay Town Council and WAX Events.
Newquay BID manager Mark Warren said: “Spooky Newquay is becoming much more than a local event.
“Families are now travelling from across Cornwall and further afield, with some visitors specifically timing their trips to Newquay around the Zombie Crawl. That is fantastic news for the town.
“The feedback we had last year was incredible, with so many people telling us they had never seen Newquay so busy.
“I genuinely believe this is becoming one of the biggest Halloween events in the UK, and potentially has the opportunity to become something recognised much further afield. We want to continue investing in it, improving it and making it bigger and better year after year.”
