A wealth of documents and photos relating to the historic Looe Valley Railway line is being made available with the opening of a new centre.
The centre is on Liskeard railway station’s Platform 3, which serves the branch line down to Looe, and was set to open to the public yesterday.
Those who visit the facility will discover an exhibition about the history of the line, railway books and souvenirs, and a range of information aimed generally at visitors to South East Cornwall.
The centre will be open from 9.30am- 1.30pm initially on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
