A fundraiser from Callington is preparing for his longest walk yet on August 17 to raise funds for Children's Hospice South West. In the past five years Jonny Burnard has completed several charity walks to help disadvantaged children in India, and received the Diana Award for his dedication to fundraising. Now the 15-year-old is getting ready for a 110-mile Walk with Pride from Saltash to Land's End, and he has already received £3,000 in pledges for his cause. Jonny will be joined in the eight-day walk by his father Andy Burnard, and grandfather Terry Burnard. A Party Night will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at the Bull's Head in Callington in support of Jonny's Walk.
