The Neonatal department at the Royal Cornwall Hospital is delighted to be one of six hospitals in the UK to be awarded a three-year grant from UNICEF UK Baby Friendly Initiative through the Burdett Trust.

Almost half of the Neonatal units throughout the UK applied for this grant, which was instigated by UNICEF, in recognition of the fact that breastfeeding can help reduce a number of illnesses.
