THE East Cornwall Skittles League season is coming to a close with a number of titles being decided.
Lee Penwarden, of Terriers, saw off a field of 48 players at Pensilva to win the Men's Individual Competition, scoring 81 to narrowly beat Penwarden senior, Colin, of The Misfits, by two pins.
Meanwhile, in the Ladies' event, Fiona Rescorle (Nomads) bagged a 77 to see off a strong challenge from Hot Shots' Gloria Wilton one point in arrears.
