An evening of pampering and Christmas shopping is being offered - and all who attend will be helping a good cause.

Friends Gemma Adams and Kamy Poultney are organising the Ladies Night at Pensilva Village Hall tomorrow (Saturday December 1 from 7.30pm) in aid of the National Autistic Society (NAS).

‘I met Gemma at a Get Together Cornwall meeting in Liskeard, a fantastic group that supports adults and children living on or with the autistic spectrum,’ said Kamy, who lives in Upton Cross, and whose eldest child has Asperger’s syndrome.

‘The NAS is a charity very close to my heart. Raising awareness is so important for our children.’

With free entry, the event will include refreshments and a bar. Beauty treatments, tarot readings and homemade gifts will be among the stalls to browse.
