THE Fowey Classic Car Show and Parade returns on Thursday, August 20 as part of the town’s Royal Regatta.

The event, which was first held in 2021, features sports cars, bikes, agricultural and commercial vehicles that are all pre-1990 machines.

Thousands of spectators are expected to attend this year’s event which will see over 500 entries.

Those that are joining the parade will have the opportunity to drive through the mile long 100 year old Pinnock Tunnel courtesy of Imerys.

Public viewing for this year’s outing at Fowey River Academy begins at 2pm, with the awards presentation taking place at 4pm and the procession from 5pm.

There is no charge for entry but any donations would be gratefully appreciated at the gate.
