THE Eden Project will once again be welcoming visitors to their annual Cornwall Christmas Fair on Wednesday, November 18 and Thursday, November 19.

Organised entirely by volunteers, the fair, which is now in its 35th year, brings together shopping, food and drink, and seasonal entertainment, all while raising vital funds for Cornwall Community Foundation.

Fairgoers can soak up the atmosphere and pick up festive treats knowing they are supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged people across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Tickets to the Preview and Shopping Evening on the Wednesday includes supper in the Mediterranean Biome and a Cornwall Christmas Fair Cocktail Party. There will also be performances from Rock Choir on the day.

Tickets for the main Fair Day on Thursday include free entry to Eden and a soup or pasty lunch. Eden’s Biomes will be illuminated throughout the fair, creating a spectacular backdrop to the celebrations and offering a sparkling preview of Eden’s seasonal lights experience.

Rodda's Pre-loved Christmas Jumper stall will also make a return with the addition of ski-wear and an exclusive St Eval Candle Company scented Christmas candle will be available to purchase with all proceeds going to the charity fund.

The Cornwall Christmas Fair has raised more than £1.1-million for charitable causes over the past 35 years. The funds raised help support grassroots organisations working to tackle poverty, isolation and disadvantage across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Pix Ashworth and Kitty Galsworthy, co-chairs of Cornwall Christmas Fair, said: "The Cornwall Christmas Fair is much more than a fundraising event. It's a whole day out or a whole evening out, bringing together great shopping, fantastic food, festive entertainment and the opportunity to catch up with friends. It really showcases the incredible community spirit that exists across Cornwall.

“Every ticket purchased, every raffle ticket sold and every pound spent at the fair helps make a real difference to people who need support most."
