The Noughts took a step closer to the league title was an 8-1 victory over the Ship A, winning five of the singles through Cess Pethick, Andy Bryant, Andy Grant, Jerry Jago and Grant Guild. Alan Winterson secured the Ships only point with his singles victory.
Pelynt B dropped further behind the Noughts, winning 6-3 against the Legion side who nearly put them out of the KO Cup. Pelynt won four of the singles with wins from Rat Tamblyn, Martin Dunn, Nigel Davis and Max Facey, with Paul Blower and Bob Whitewood getting the Legions singles points. The doubles went 2-1 in Pelynt's favour.
The Rowett B's late surge continued with a 9-0 win over new wooden spoon favourites the Ship B. The Rowett B swept through the card with only Justin Newman managing a leg for the Ship.
Fourth places Rowett A had a fright when they found themselves four each with the Three Pilchards especially after being 4-1 up. The Pilchards won the first but then the Rowett reeled off the next four in a row. Ashley Courts then managed to beat the high scoring Adam Jago. The fish won the first two doubles to put all the pressure on the Rowett but Jason Mark stepped forward to hit the winning doubles much to his team-mates relief.
Pelynt A entertained the Caradon and soon found themselves 2-0 behind with wins from the Caradons Maggie Robinson and Jim Svenson. Pelynt then won the next four singles through Power Palmer, Joan Geach, Tony Hogben and Dean Haynes. The Campers needed all three doubles for the win but only managed two, going down 5-4 in the end.
