With the wind coming from all points of the compass, most crews became exasperated during Saturday afternoon's racing in Looe Bay. The Redwing class competitors were static at the beach-mark for 20 minutes, until the old seadog, Colin Crabb, and crew Richard Ham sniffed out a private rock breeze and sailed to victory. East Taphouse helm Cecil Duvalle and crew Hedley Martin, making a rare appearance, came a close second.
