Discarded plastic will be transformed into driveways thanks to a new partnership.
Flooring specialists Oltco have teamed up with the UK’s Pro Surfing Association (UKPSA) with an initiative called ’Clean Breaks’.
The UKPSA has committed to taking an active role in cleaning up the coastline as its professional surfers compete at beaches around the country.
All plastic waste collected from the tour will be converted into driveways by Oltco.
The Clean Breaks scheme was launched in Newquay by Oltco’s Johnny Pearce and Clean Breaks Junior Ambassador Noah Capps, last year’s under 16 champion on the UK Pro Surf tour.
