A total of six candidates are preparing to battle for the two county council seats available in the Callington area at the local elections on Thursday, May 5. In the Callington ward, sitting independent councillor Tony Nettle faces challenges from Conservative Ronald Adcock, and Liberal Democrat Lee Price. In the Calstock ward, Labour member Godfrey Smale, defending the seat he has held for more than 20 years, is challenged by Conservative James Flashman, and Liberal Democrat Phil Hutty.
