Cornwall is in the running to hold onto its title as the Best UK Holiday Destination for a ninth year at the prestigious British Travel Awards 2017 (BTAs).

To help Cornwall, everyone is being urged by Visit Cornwall to show it at: www.visitcornwall.com/vote-for-cornwall. 

A public vote against rival category contenders Cumbria/Lake District, Norfolk, Northumberland and Pembrokeshire stands between Cornwall and the top spot.

In addition to being shortlisted for the top holiday destination award, the Lost Gardens of Heligan are contenders in the Best UK Leisure Attraction category, and Bude is in the running for the Best UK Coastal Resort.

The winners will be determined by the consumer, who has until September 30 to cast their vote, with the successful companies announced at the BTA Gala Awards Dinner, being held in London on November 29.
