The Tideford and St Germans Branch was honoured with two awards at the Royal British Legion Annual County Conference held in County Hall Truro.

Rosemary Savery, branch standard bearer and ex-RAF was presented with the Bernard Hitchens Memorial Trophy statuette by the RBL Cornwall county chairman Steve Lewis, ex-Royal Navy.

She has now won the award for three consecutive years.

Lieutenant Commander Sue Murch, branch membership secretary received the Bob Davidson Award from Commodore Muriel Hocking, RBL Cornwall county vice-president.
