POLICE investigating a road traffic collision near Lanreath on Tuesday 12 April are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. Officers were called to reports of a collision involving two cars on the B3359 at Lanreath at around 4.15pm. As a result of the collision a local woman in her 60s sustained serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment. Emergency services attended the scene, and the road was closed for around eight hours as a result of the collision.
