Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which happened at about 8pm on Sunday, July 8, in Fore Street, East Looe. A man in his 50s was attacked as he tried to assist another man who was being assaulted by two male suspects. The two suspects are described as in their early 20s and both between 5ft 10 inches and 6ft tall.
