A NEW attraction for South East Cornwall has been launched with the arrival of Adventure Segway at Mount Edgcumbe Country Park on the Rame Peninsula.

Now visitors can take a guided tour of the park on the electric all-terrain transporters – after having training from an instructor .

First to have a go were Malcolm Bell of Visit Cornwall and Amanda Lumley of Destination Plymouth, who were at Mount Edgcumbe.

'Visitors can now join us on an all-new experience and navigate a selection of fun features across the beautiful landscape at Mount Edgcumbe,' said a spokesperson for Adventure Segway.

'Our transporters have been designed specifically for outdoor all-weather adventures with higher ground clearance and chunky tyres.'

Adventure Segway tours will be available most days through until December.
