Liskeard Police have had reports in the past weeks complaining about riders on trail and scrambler bikes riding on the common land at Pensilva/Foredown and Caradon Hill.
A police spokesperson said: ’The common land is run by the Commoners Association and is for use for grazing animals and not riding bikes. This is causing distress to animals and is also an offence under the Road Traffic Act which gives us power to seize bikes and issue fines. The area will be monitored and anyone identified can expect a visit from us’.
