Community police in Callington say they will be patrolling the area around the Village Collection park and speaking to children and parents where necessary.

The move by officers follows reports of bullying and antisocial behaviour taking place there.

‘The park is a lovely area for all ages to spend the summer holidays – no-one wants to hear constant swearing,’ a police spokesperson said. ‘If anyone knows those responsible, please let us know.
