Burglar caught after returning to collect his wallet

A man was arrested for burglary after returning to the scene of the crime to pick up his wallet.

The man had stolen items from the workshops at the Torpoint Ferry, and was later picked up on camera returning to the scene, said a Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson.

’Due to the excellent quality of the CCTV, the male was recognised when he returned to the scene of the crime to try and find his wallet, which he left behind.’
