Fire crews from Bodmin Fire Station attended an agricultural fire yesterday (April 6)

They were called to reports that a large agricultural tractor was on fire in a field.

Upon arrival, the tractor was reported as 'well alight', and two hose reel, two breathing apparatus, and one main jet were used to extinguish the fire.

A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two appliances from Bodmin Fire Station attended this incident.

"It involved a large agricultural tractor in a field, which on arrival was well alight.

"Crews used two hose reel, two breathing apparatus, and one main jet to extinguish the fire."
